The kindergarten children are rehearsing each day on stage for their upcoming performances on Friday, April 4. The teachers and accompanist have been coaching and directing as the children learn about where and how to move on stage. Dancing and singing is being incorporated into the stories, each inspired by a children's book. Prepare to be dazzled on Friday!,
Kindergarten had 100 days worth of fun on Monday! The children compared the items brought into the classroom for the 100th day museum, and discussed various ways of organizing for counting. Each child made a hat to represent 100, some used stickers, while others wrote the number 100 on their hat. The hats were worn in the 100th Day Parade, which took place around the Brookside building. Pre-K and Kindergarten students were the marchers and first -third grade students cheered them on as they walked proudly down the upstairs hallway! |
