Mrs. Glynn was captivating yesterday as she visited each Kindergarten classroom to give a follow up lesson about force.  After brainstorming the different types of forces they can not see (for example, wind, gravity and magnetism), they learned about what materials are attracted to magnets.  As a follow up to the discussion the students experimented with magnets at their tables with a group of friends. Finally, students used a rod and ring magnet to learn about magnetic force, observing how the magnets could push and pull.  The magnets will remain in the Kindergarten classrooms until Mrs. Glynn's next visit.  Look at how much fun we had with them during our center time!
