Kindergarten is in the fall spirit! This week the kindergarten class traveled to Bergen County to take a hike throughout the beautiful wooded area of Flat Rock Brook Nature Center. We had crystal clear skies above, so it was a perfect day to be outside. The children were led by the talented tour guides of Flat Rock. On their walk the children discovered how the seasonal change was affecting the area we live in. They saw turkeys, deer, a brook that was home to many living things, and even had the opportunity to call for birds. Some groups took a look at some endangered animals that have visited Flat Rock. There was so much to see! When the children arrived back at school they were eager to talk about everything they learned. We are so excited to see our youngest scientists exploring and discovering new information!
