Kindergarten sends a huge thank you to the Kuser family and the staff at Fernbrook Farm for an amazing day. The children got a first hand look at what a day at the farm looks like. They enjoyed a tractor ride with Mr. Kuser and saw the beautiful farm landscape. Afterwards, they learned how the farm makes their compost and dug through the dirt for worms. Some were apprehensive at first, but by the end everyone had muddy hands! Later on, the children walked out to the pigpen. On the way they stopped to pick greens beans and tasted them. Finally, they met “T-bone” the cow and all of the different animals that Fernbrook Farm takes care of. It was a fabulous first field trip for Kindergarten!
