Kindergarten students were busy this week learning about what it means to code. The children had great fun coding with each other, giving commands to a partner, coding during a Checkers game, and building a tall structure out of cups. Their teamwork really paid off, as they were able to successfully complete their missions. Helen Noble, a second grade teacher, made a guest appearance and taught us about some great applications to use on the iPad to reinforce coding. We loved learning about “Flurb” the furby who wanted to get from one place to another. We cannot wait to experiment more with other coding applications!
