Estimating Time

As a follow-up to our math lessons on estimation, the kindergarten students experimented with the stop watch app on the iPads.  They made predictions about how long it would take them to do various activities.  They then timed themselves and their partners.  They assessed whether their careful guess was way too high, too low, or just about right.  Then, they used what they learned to make predictions about the next activity.
